fleshxfur originated from John's Photography Business- Originally called, 'John Welch PhoDography' (an exclusive dog photographer), however he began to incorporate working with people, so developed the name to become, 'Flesh + Fur Photography'. He chose to use it as his rapper name because not only is it unique, but it showcases his real passion for dogs, photography, music, and links it all together.

The Effy LP by FleshXFur has been released and recorded at the Lyrics Studio in Victoria BC with Eddy on the boards. - This is a high-quality studio production with vocals put through on a Slate Mic. Almost every track on this LP is produced by someone different. Eddy Vocals Customizes the tracks and did all recording, mixing, and dropped the hook for the 'Know Me' collaboration with Spictacular and Mr. ESQ-- This project also includes a collaboration with an underground artist from Denver, Doozy Doo.
