A-OK All Day Records presents "Joy & Pain", the new single from Los Angeles emcee Myka 9, featuring fellow LA lyricist Blu. "Joy & Pain" is the lead single from Nine Clouds, Myka's forthcoming collaboration album with UK producer Profound, who tragically passed away just after the album's completion. Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, Eligh & The Grouch of Living Legends, Blueprint, Lily Fangz, Joaquin Daniels and DJ Essential also appear on the album. Myka redefined the boundaries of rhyme and meter as a founding member of Los Angeles collective Freestyle Fellowship ("Innercity Boundaries" on Youtube) and has also released several solo albums. Blu made his mark via his Below The Heavens album alongside producer Exile. Founded by DJ A-OK, A-OK All Day is an independent hip-hop record label based on the Hawaiian island of Kauai which is "dedicated to a pure Hip Hop sound created with integrity and devotion. Soulful soundscapes and noteworthy lyrics lay the foundation to ignite that profound human experience only stirred by music that stands the test of time. Everything is Everything."

MC/singer/songwriter Pete Santos presents the RP Films Media-directed music video for "Last Night People", his new B.Cimili-produced single featuring Miara. A New York City native currently residing in Finland, Pete grew up all over the world, a life journey which heavily influenced his blend of hip-hop, pop, R&B, afro-rhythms, and soul music. The clip for "Last Night People" follows on the heels of visuals for his last single "We Emotional" (Youtube). Pete says his new single is about "the next day of a newly-married couple who wed the night before in Las Vegas. The newlywed couple tells their story about their love for each other and the beauty of that love."

Los Angeles emcee Alph Tha Alien presents the Evan Clark-directed music video for "Black Tax", the self-produced title track from his new album out now on Dystopia Records featuring guest appearances from Open Mike Eagle and Sahtyre. Under his previous moniker Alpha MC he was part of LA underground collective Swimteam which also included Open Mike Eagle and Dumbfoundead (watch the 2013 Swimteam cypher). In 2014 he released The Rebound, a 7-track EP with fellow LA emcee Pigeon John (watch the music video for "Outchea"). "I wrote this when you really started to see the shift in America's race dynamic after Trump came into office," says Alph. "The song is about the veil of racism and what black Americans do to work around that."

New York-based band Graffiti Royale present the Jordan Collins-directed music video for "Sunrays", their new single featuring rapper Oswin Benjamin. The "Sunrays" clip follows on the heels of visuals for singles "Feel The Fire" (watch) and "Sweet Like Wine" (watch). Oswin Benjamin released his album Godfrey (Spotify) in 2019 and has collaborated with Styles P and Chris Rivers. The band was born when singer Bronx-bred vocalist Daniel Vasquez a.k.a. QuezDreamer began looking for a backup band to perform with during his sets, a search which led him to connect with Northern California native Tyler Morrisette a.k.a. Creature in the Woods and Alec Green a.k.a. AG, who hails from Philadelphia. Graffiti Royale has performed its mix of electronica, 80s funk, indie rock and hip-hop at SOBs, Mercury Lounge, DROM, The Shrine, Paper Box and SRBs, with recent small tours in California and Philadelphia. They have shared the stage with Oswin Benjamin, Chris Rivers, J Lately, Adrien Daniels, Jake and Poppa and Year of the OX. "We created this song to represent the feeling that the end of summer brings when you're chasing the fleeting moments you felt in the sun," the band says. "We collaborated with our good friend and NY rapper, Oswin Benjamin. Our original idea for the video was to bury ourselves in the sand at the beach all day, but our videographer talked us out of it." Staten Island, NY R&B group The Force M.D.'s present the music video for "Fly With You". Entering the ranks of all-time R&B legends with their '80s singles "Tender Love" (Youtube) and "Love Is A House" (Youtube), The Force M.D.'s played a crucial role in the cross-pollination of hip-hop and R&B. Written and produced by Robert Schwartz and Eric Cui and co-produced by 2x Grammy-winning producer Carvin Haggins, Kevin Crump, and Force M.D.'s, "Fly With You" was inspired by the passing of group members TC, Trisco, and Mercury, sung from the perspective of the deceased telling their loved ones to hold on. Filmed in the Poconos, the video was directed by multi-award winning director Robert Schwartz, and features M.D.'s member Stevie’s D’s family, actor Gavin Furbert, and child actress Madison Schwartz. The Force M.D.'s last album was 2000's The Reunion. "Fly With You" is out now on Force M.D.'s Music/WHOMAG/Sony Orchard.
