Maryland emcee and Creative Minds founder Jerrod Bowen presents the Unscene productions-directed music video for "Sound Odyssey", the Keylow & Physical Graffiti-guested lead single from Bowen's new album Thelonious, named after the jazz pianist Thelonious Monk. Thelonious also features guest appearances from Mr. Ruckus, Crown Vic, & Klassic Soul, all representing the Creative Minds brand. The entire album is produced by Washington, D.C. beatsmith K-Murdock, who fuses golden-era sounds with live instrumentation. Murdock also produced Bowen's debut album Days Of Grace (Spotify). "Sound Odyssey" is named after a record store in Bowen's hometown of Ocean City and interpolates the jazz classic "Summertime", as the lead single of an album filled with nods to the golden era of hiphop which K-Murdock calls "a labor of love". Thelonious is out now on Creative Minds LLC.

San Diego-born, Oakland-bred rapper G. Battles presents the Battle Axe Media-directed music video for "I Love A Real Woman", featuring Aloe Jo'el with production by Yogic Beats. 18-year-old rapper Nazzy The Mic presents the Banga Jaxon-directed music video for "How You Feel, Pt. 2", the new single featuring Black60K from Nazzy's new album Eighteen, which also features a guest appearance from Yung.King.Cole as well as production from 3GLI and WNZ. Born Norelle Hampton, Nazzy has been rapping since the age of 6, hitting the studio since the age of 12 and released her first EP at the age of 16. Nazzy mines her real life as a Gay and Muslim teen and product of inner-city Philadelphia, painting a visceral image as a prolific storyteller. Growing up she's witnessed violence and experienced trauma, love and loss, conflicts between her religion and her sexuality. She turns the booth into a therapy session to communicate her problems, feelings, and thoughts on the mic. Balt Getty presents the animated music video for his "80s Crack Baby" mixtape, produced entirely by Balt and featuring shoutouts from DJ Premier, Scott Storch and Kanye West. The artist, DJ, producer, award-winning actor, director and Purplehaus founder born Balthazar Getty is the son of German artist Gisela Getty and John Paul Getty III. Balthazar entered the mainstream via his role in 1990's Lord Of The Flies, going on to star in David Lynch classics like Lost Highway and the 2017 resurrection of Twin Peaks. Countless DJ gigs around the globe and a string of Purplehaus releases featuring everyone from rap legends Wu-Tang Clan to Latin superstar Asdru Sierra set the stage for the 2018 introduction of his animated alter ego Balt Getty, which first appeared on single “Porsche” (watch the music video) followed by “Retail Therapy”, which attracted Riff Raff for its official remix (Spotify).
