Bay Area, California rapper and Distant Relatives member Vocab Slick presents the William Rushton-directed music video for “That Money”, Vocab's new single produced by HG Beats and co-produced by Starski. The new clip comes on the heels of visuals for "Highway", Vocab's collaboration record with DJ True Justice and Z-Man (watch), and "Flying" (watch). Releasing his debut solo album Lyrically Conscious in 2003 following several stints in jail, Vocab formed the group Distant Relatives with his childhood friend Emotionall and rapper Maynee (stream "Celebrate" featuring The Grouch and Eligh). Emotionall was subsequently deported to Mexico, and Maynee passed away in 2014, one year after Vocab's mother passed and his daughter was born. Vocab bounced back with 2014's Somethin' Slick EP (Soundcloud), followed by the Issues & Episodesfull-length (stream "Priceless" featuring Opio of Souls of Mischief). Vocab co-founded the Slap Frost Tour, which grew into an annual festival featuring the likes of Planet Asia, Locksmith, and Chino XL. Vocab recently toured with Tha Alkaholiks and Gavlyn following the release of his EP The Day After Yesterday(stream "Pusha" featuring Planet Asia). ''I just wanted to write a song for working class people," Vocab says. "There is a whole other side to the get money mentality that a lot of artists don't address. It doesn't always have to be duffel bag boys and fancy cars. I come from a back ground where my parents got up every morning and went and clocked in at a 9-5 job. I wanted to shed some light on that because I feel like were getting to a point in Hip Hop where the majority of the message conveyed is you have to have some kind of dope hustle to get ahead and that's not always the case. If that's your thing by all means get your money. On the other side though it's ok to have a ''real'' job if that's what puts food on your table and takes care of your family. Salute to all the grinders."

Bronx, New York singer/actress Jennifer Lopez presents the music video for "Te Guste (You Liked Me", her single with fellow Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny. "Te Guste" continues J-Lo's recent slew of heavily Latin-flavored singles, from "Ni Tú Ni Yo" with Gente de Zona and "Amor, Amor, Amor"with Wisin to "Dinero", her collaboration with Cardi B and DJ Khaled. J-Lo is currently prepping for her upcoming movie Second Act. Bad Bunny's appearance on "MIA" helped Drake break The Beatles' record for most top ten hits in one year, and his "I Like It" collaboration with Cardi B recently went number one. At this month’s Latin Grammy Awards ceremony, Bad Bunny will join Will Smith and Marc Anthony for a show-opening performance of their "Está Rico" collab. The "Te Guste" video was directed by Mike Ho, the man behind videos for Cardi B, T.I. and Teyana Taylor. The single is a joint venture between Underdog Records and G2Productions.

DJ True Justice presents the music video for "Highway", his new single featuring Vocab Slick and Z-Man. Produced by HG Beats, "Highway" will appear on Stylin On You, True Justice's forthcoming EP also featuring Casual Of Hieroglyphics. Currently releasing all projects via his Francisco St. Productions imprint, True is a veteran of the Bay Area hip-hop scene, first as a dancer for Oakland group A.P.G. (Action Packed Gangstas) before devoting to the turntables under the tutelage of A.P.G.'s DJ J-Cutt. A dedicated show DJ, True formed the All Purpose DJs in 1996 with Lord Takim, DJ Styles, and DJ Lex, who he dropped several collaboration releases with through the late 90s, and was the resident DJ on Bay Area rapper Paris's label Guerilla Funk. A career performer and showman, True has performed across the world, and his sets have graced stages alongside the likes of Notorious B.I.G., E-40, Above The Law, The Beatnuts, Redman and Tha Alkaholiks. True cofounded the Slap Frost Tour with Z-Man and Vocab Slick, who recently released the music video for his single “Flying” (Youtube). The 5th Annual Slap Frost Tour is currently underway, dates below:
