Singer/songwritter/producer/rapper Benny Okoto presents the music video for "Ever Told". Directed by Benjamin Coffey, "Ever Told" appears on Benny Okoto's soon to be released album "Lonely Hearts Club". Produced by Jahmal Gittens, the "Ever Told" clip comes on the heels of visuals for Benny Okoto's previous single "Doubletree Doughboy Schemes" (Youtube). Ghanaian-American Raleigh, North Carolina resident Benny says "'Ever Told' is about embracing the low points in life, and instead of self destruction or losing faith, choosing to instead take your time and exude patience. While I was dealing with a lot of life issues and responsibilities, I had remembered conversations with different women in my life. They all told me to take my time in one way or the other. This gave me a new perspective on where I was at and what I know I was blessed to look forward to. The last of those conversations was with my mother, who told me to take my time while I was eating. This repetition of the message became a metaphor for women’s influence in our lives in general."

Balt Getty presents "Sad Boy", the new single out now on Purplehaus Records. The artist, DJ, producer, award-winning actor, director and Purplehaus founder born Balthazar Getty is the son of German artist Gisela Getty and John Paul Getty III. Balthazar entered the mainstream via his role in 1990's Lord Of The Flies, going on to star in David Lynch classics like Lost Highway and the 2017 resurrection of Twin Peaks. Countless DJ gigs around the globe and a string of Purplehaus releases featuring everyone from rap legends Wu-Tang Clan to Latin superstar Asdru Sierra set the stage for the 2018 introduction of his animated alter ego Balt Getty, which first appeared on single “Porsche” (watch the music video) followed by “Retail Therapy”, which attracted Riff Raff for its official remix (Spotify). When asked about the emotion driving "Sad Boy", Getty says "This song's special to me and I feel like everybody has a sad boy or sad girl in them. This one's for you, so tap in.”

Nashville-based artist/producer presents "Nirvana", his new single produced by Arcane Beats. Jake mixes R&B, hiphop and electronic with his accomplished piano playing, bouncing atop easily between singing and rapping. In 2020 Jake released visuals to "Mama Hopes" (Youtube), which features him skydiving in tandem with his mother. "In Buddhism, nirvana is a state of enlightenment that is void of suffering," Jake says about his new single. "One can find or enter nirvana by completing the many cycles of death and rebirth, so I wrote this song with a sort of 'we all get a second chance' mentality.
